So turns out that the demon wasn’t actually a demon but a slightly more “natural” (whatever that means) spirit of murder or something. You know, one of those spirits that got chucked out when the whole thing-under-George-Square was vanquished. Goes along with the spirit of blood or hunger or something that had been draining people quite a few months ago. Mostly worked it out by using that Auspex power “Spirit’s Touch” on the items the thing used to smash it’s victims skulls in to drink their energy. There are a few nasty mental images from that which will stick with me but, as gory as it was, nothing that says it literally came from hell. Talking to McGregor later confirmed exactly what it was. Anyway, that means no demon diseases for us to pick up!
Had some success with crafts this month! Made Twig a “formicarium” in return for his scrying. Posh word for an ant farm. It’s nothing fancy but I added some cool mechanical stuff to it for fun. It came out not too bad!
Got the underground vault finished too. Picked up some extra bits and pieces to make it easier so now we have a secure place for storing illegal immigrants, haha, or frenzying companions! The whole Office is looking pretty good. With our computer and security setup and everything. Still more to do, mind you. Victor suggested a secure fridge, and asked for a lathe. Plus, I need to get us that radio setup I found before.
My wee hacker-guy is doing well. I picked up some passwords for some nurse and clerical staff at one of the local hospitals and he’s used it to set up a thing to look for certain keywords popping up in the NHS computer systems. He says it needs more work, but once it’s working, it’ll help us identify people brought in with anaemia or suspicious injuries.
Also, I worked through the list of 30 missing people from last month that had kindred names on it. Alot of them had moved on and had just left sort-of gaps behind. I’ll get my guy to re-run his algorithm and see what we get left with.
Now I’m just waiting for Doyle to give the go-ahead for this Sabbat Black Hand attack in Hamilton. Looks like Carter and his crew (that guy knows how to wind me up) are breaking into a car hire place (my suggestion) to steal us vehicles to use, supplying burner phones for us to communicate and bringing blood for us all to drink (I’ll be bringing my own thankyouverymuch). “Tanis” will be casting some ritual that locks up our beasts or something so that we don’t frenzy on each other… I really don’t like the idea of that but sounds like a better plan than the alternative. My task is to ram-raid the target location with a removal van full of killer-Gangrel. Sounds almost fun… wish me luck?
